Baby Bliss Balls (unsweetened)

These baby bliss balls are full of good fats and nutrients. They are unsweetened and no cacao (no caffeine!), so the perfect treat for your little one (12 months or older).

These are gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free and vegan.

Ingredients (makes 25 mini balls)

(I buy organic ingredients, but you can get conventional if you want to save a bit of $$$)

  • 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 cup of cashews
  • 1/4 cup of pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup of carob powder
  • 3 heaped tablespoons of coconut oil (be generous as this is what will bind the balls)
  • 1-2 tablespoons of filtered water
  • Pinch of Himalayan salt

Equipment

  • High speed blender (we use a Vitamix)

Method

  • Add all of the ingredients (except water) to the blender
  • Blend on medium speed until all mixed together (you may need a spatula to mix up)
  • You may need to add 1-2 tablespoons of water depending on the consistency
  • Roll up the balls into small bites
  • Store in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for a couple of months
